Arne Vodder (1926-2009) was a Danish furniture designer. He was a student, friend, and partner of Finn Juhl, and the two artists collaborated for several years. He greatly influenced modern Scandinavian design. He is known for simple yet timeless teak and rosewood designs. He worked under several manufacturers including Fritz Hansen, France & Son, Cado, Ivan Schlechter, Bovirke, Vamo and Slagelse, and his furniture received great acclaim in Europe and America.
